37 week ultrasound – the last one
Today was my last ultrasound at 37 weeks and I had many fixed feelings about it. First, I was so excited to see my baby again! It has been too long, about 10 weeks and I missed seeing him, On the other hand, I was sad that this was the last ultrasound before the big day! Even though I wasn’t able to see much I still enjoyed it. According to the ultrasound tech, once baby gets bigger it’s hard for parents to even know what they are looking at, and it’s true! She actually pointed to his eye, I turned, squinted my eyes to see it, didn’t see it, still was excited and pretended that I did!
My sister came with me to be part of this experience and to record it. Mostly for Shawn who couldn’t make it. He had to travel for business and had to miss this appointment, which was sad since he’s been to every single appointment I’ve had but the video should make him feel like he was part of it, right? Patting myself on the back for thinking of it!
Ok, so details: Adam is now 5 pounds, 12 ounces and he’s facing down (hopefully he won’t flip) so he’s in position to come in 3 weeks!
Here’s two short videos if you’d like to watch them…Enjoy!
